Navy SEAL's extraction of the Tomcat Patch Animals from Iran in January 1981. From that point on, Iran's F-14's had serious mechanical issues. The Tomcat Patch Animals who were stationed there were freed that day, and they returned home to the United States.

"Saddler's Acme Rescue ...That Patch Animals May Live." Location of SAR summer camp where Patch Animals learn to swim and surf while getting comfortable with water immersion. "You sink 'em, we pluck 'em!" is the SAR camp's motto. Held every summer at Coronado Beach, San Diego, California.
